Here are the two males I'm keeping to start on squirrel. Pups are just shy of one week old today Sunday April 11, 2010. Sorry all the pups are spoken for in this litter, so we won't have any for sell. If you want pups its best to get on the waiting list. We will register this litter as "Treeing Cur Pups", because we expect the majority of the puppies to meet NKC weight requirements of the Treeing Cur breed.

Trapper is started on treeing squirrels, but needs more time in the woods for me to call her "well started". "Trapper" is registered as a Feist and because Trapper's weight will stay under 30 pounds she will be a registered feist for life. Hay, that rhymes  Smile

Super Fly is turning out to be just that, she is showing to be her mother and "possibly more" in the making. She is extremely alert and attentive. I have high hopes for this dog. "Super Fly" is registered as a Feist, but actually should be registered as a Treeing Cur because she grew to be over 30 pounds.

I finally obtained a “marvelous” squirrel dog in early December. I haven’t had any squirrel dogs since 1998, and I’ve never had one like her. She’s one of the few exceptional squirrel dogs I’ve ever seen. Her name is “Fly” and her full name is GR SQ CH, CH Oak Tree FLY. Fly is an NKC (National Kennel Club) registered Treeing Cur. She's a Grand Squirrel Champion with one or two wins towards her Super Grand. Fly is also a bench champion with two wins towards her grand bench championship. She also placed 7th overall in the 2005 NKC World Squirrel Championship.
